Michelle Gerace is a senior leader with over 25 years of experience in service operations, recognized for driving revenue growth, improving processes, and strengthening service delivery. As Director of Client Relations & WNY Service Manager at the John W. Danforth Company, she oversees strategic direction and operational execution across HVAC, plumbing, and air filtration services. She leads a diverse team focused on field performance, operational discipline, shared accountability, and financial results.
Under her leadership, the team achieved more than a 50% increase in revenue, significantly improved contract compliance, and implemented a customer integration process that reduced service transition issues by half. Her background includes director-level roles at SmartEdge and Siemens Industry, where she developed new business segments, drove double-digit margin improvements, and streamlined operations across energy services and project delivery. She has held P&L responsibility throughout her career and is known for aligning field service operations with business strategy to drive growth and accountability. Michelle has been recognized with the President’s Circle Award, Elite Sales and Marketing Award, and Corporate Gold Medal Award for her work in growth and operational excellence.
She holds a B.S. in Marketing of Technology along with a degree in Electronic Technology. She is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Demand-Side Management Professional. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Michelle was a chartering member of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of NAWIC and currently serves on the board. She is actively involved in workforce development efforts that support greater access and advancement for women and students pursuing careers in construction and service-related roles across the contracting industry.
