Jay Hoarell

Jay has spent 3 decades leading finance, operations, and P&Ls in the industrial services and consumer products industries. With extensive global & North American experience, Jay specializes in building outstanding teams and cultures and unlocking significant profitable growth.

Jay is the Managing Director of Carrier’s Commercial Service and Rentals businesses in the Americas. As MD, Jay is responsible for 1,400 employees in 43 locations performing mechanical installations, modernization, rentals, and service of HVAC equipment.

Jay previously served as President of Automated Logic Contracting service Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of the Carrier Corporation. As President, Jay was responsible for 1,100 employees in 27 North American locations installing and maintaining building automation hardware & software in key verticals such as data centers, higher education, and health care logistics.

Prior to Carrier, Jay spent 10 years at KONE elevator in both finance and general management with notable project wins such as Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta and service customers such as Hartsfield-Jackson airport and Auburn University.

Jay also has extensive experience in finance and operations in the consumer product industry culminating in his role as VP of Finance, global operations for Apex Tool Group, a $2B portfolio company of Bain Capital. Jay has been associated with brands such as Slim-Fast, Ragu, IRWIN tools, Crescent tools, Sharpie, & Paper Mate.

Jay started his career as a certified public account at PwC where he divided his time between audit & consulting.

Jay holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University
